Jul 28 Moving out of state from NJ to Vermont (Part 1)

I've promised that I would record how our move went and I better do that before its all forgotten.

Our initial plan was to leave on June 18th Monday afternoon and maybe latest arriving in Vermont on 19th. However we ended up having to make some changes because I wanted to drop by Ladybug's agency in New York City before we leave. SO, not only we didn't finish all the packing by Sunday night, we now have to leave earlier so that I can drive into the city to have a short meeting with Ladybug's agent.

Sunday (6/17/2018) - We decided to go hang out with our close friends/colleague in the afternoon and we spent almost 4-5 hours in their house, talking and eating. Jozef went and pick up the big 26' U-haul dragging along our Lincoln MKZ at the back. At this point, our house was only 20% packed. I am already stress out and worried inside but then I also really want to at least meet up and spend some time with friends that we will probably not be able to see for quite some time. I know Jozef would get things done either way but I would really like to make things easier for him.
We did have a wonderful time there and from the bottom of our heart, we appreciate & are grateful with the friendship that we have acquired while working in Gymland. I hope we will all remember the good and forget the bad...

June 18th , 2015 (Monday)
So our plan was to pack as much and load as much into the truck before I head out to the city with the kids. After meeting with Ladybug's agent, I'll start my journey to Vermont first. Jozef will do his best to get things pack and loaded by night time and leave on Tuesday Morning. U-haul truck was scheduled to be returned in Vermont on Wednesday. So we thought, ok, latest leave on Tuesday evening/night and unload the truck on Wednesday morning, return the Truck by 4pm.

Yea...THAT was the plan.

Obviously that didn't happen. Jozef was all alone after we left and it was really A LOT to pack all by himself. I was constantly worried about him moving the piano into the truck because its REALLY HEAVY. I didn't want him to get hurt and honestly, there's just TOO much to pack AND clean AND then drive. On top of that, U-haul told Jozef not to take the tow dolly off the truck. So it was IMPOSSIBLE to load things fast if the dolly will be blocking the platform. So, Jozef decided to go against their rule and took the dolly off which was the BEST thing we could think off.

So, I took the kids to the city and talked to Ladybugs agent about future auditions arrangements & representations. We weren't too sure if Agency would still be willing to work with us since we will be quite far away. Anyway, Natasha (the owner) was always the BEST. She explained how things can be worked out and offered to put in a word in a Boston based agency as well. So, after everything was cleared, we were ready to start our drive to Vermont. We took a last look at NYC and then sat in our car heading to Vermont. *I'll miss the city though*

Thats a tiring me starting my 5-6 hours drive into Vermont

Traffic was bad during the first 2 hours drive but after that it was all smooth. We didn't stop for anything and I've already packed snacks and drinks in the car for both ZT & Ladybug. I bought 2 red bulls, just in case I start to feel like I'll fall asleep.
We finally arrived in Barre, Vermont at around 8:30pm. We were extremely hungry so we decided to stop by the Applebee's restaurant to order some food before we head to the Gym. YES, I type Gym. That is because we don't have the keys to our house yet so we are going to sleep in the gym.
